In line with our environmental sustainability approach and our ongoing efforts under the ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System, we held an Environmental and Waste Management Awareness Training at Deka Campus.
The training, held in our conference hall with the participation of all our colleagues, was delivered together with our Environmental Consultant, Semih Tınmaz, and covered environmental protection, proper waste management, and recycling processes.
During the training, we focused on topics that are also part of our daily operations, including proper waste separation at the source, the recovery of recyclable waste, efficient use of resources, and reducing environmental impacts.
ISO 14001:2015 and Environmental Management
At Deka Elektronik, as part of our efforts under the ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System, we focus on managing our environmental impacts, using resources efficiently, properly separating waste, and improving recycling processes.
We see this approach not only as part of our processes but also as an important element of our corporate culture and employee awareness. We aim to increase awareness among our colleagues about environmental and waste management and encourage environmental responsibility to become part of everyday working practices.
Following the training, we watched a short film prepared by ÇEVKO on recyclable products and recycling processes. We concluded the program with a short assessment to evaluate the information covered during the training.
In line with our ongoing efforts under the ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System and our goal of becoming a sustainable campus, we continue our work to use resources efficiently, manage waste properly, and strengthen environmental awareness.
